SEWER SYSTEMS:

How to fix a sewer problemIf you are having sump pump or lift station problems Plumbing Professors® can help, using the right diagnostic equipment and the full range of sump & lift station repair options, we'll be available 24 Hours A day, Everyday to help solve your problems.

We know that any problem with your sewer, lift station or sump pump is a hassle and an inconvenience to you, your family or your business. That’s why we use the latest tools and technology to rapidly assess the problem, and then offer you our professional recommendations. (Using our camera technology, you’ll be able to see the trouble in your drain for yourself…Visit Video Drain & Sewer Inspections to learn more)

Plumbing Professors® can solve:

Broken, cracked pipes — damaged pipes due to shifting soil, disturbed ground, settling, etc.

Root infiltration— tree or shrub roots have invaded the sewer line, preventing normal cleaning and/or have damaged the line.

Corrosion — the pipe has deteriorated and/or broken, causing collapses in the line and restricting flow

Leaking joints — the seals between pipes have broken, allowing water to escape into the area surrounding the pipe.

NOTE: Sometimes, when a tree/shrub encroaches on your plumbing, there’s little you can do about the tree itself – especially if it’s your neighbor’s tree. Tree roots can infiltrate your sewer line and break your pipes. However, there is a way to solve the problem and save your sewer line. Use a root barrier. A root barrier made of plastic will prevent a nearby tree root from damaging your sewer line. The root barrier will also keep the tree root from lifting up the sidewalk or destroying a retaining wall. Regardless if it is roots or broken pipes, Plumbing Professors® can help you repair, replace or even re-line your sewer line.

We even have "no-dig" options that allow us to "re-line" your sewer or drain with little or no digging. That saves you money and your landscape!!

Check out "No Dig" Sewer Repairs!

ROOTER1® can help you with “settled” or broken pipes, thick tree roots, a new sewer line installation or even a replacement of your current sewer lines. Whatever the problem, you’ll rest easy knowing that you’re protected by the Plumbing Professors® 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

LIFT STATIONS:

Lift stations contain pumps, valves, and electrical equipment necessary to pump sewage, water or wastewater from a low elevation to a high elevation, or to deal with high surrounding water table issues. When you have trouble with your lift station, you must take action quickly and correctly to help minimize damage to your property or the surrounding area. We know how difficult dealing with lift stations can be, and face it, they never happen at a good time. That’s why we are available 24 Hours A Day, Everyday! We’ll be there when you need us.

We stocks a wide range of lift station parts and accessories; we can even install a temporary pump system to keep you operating if your unit needs specialized repairs.

BACKFLOW PREVENTERS:

City and state codes require backflow devices be installed for many plumbing applications. These devices are installed to protect your drinking water, (and the city water system) from becoming cross contaminated by a process called back siphoning.

When a valve, or pipe has a liquid flowing thru it, it is possible under some circumstances for the liquid to flow "backwards" thru the valve or pipe. If that happens, "contaminated" water could move backwards into the city water system, which of course would not be a good thing. Backflow devices are designed to stop the water from being able to move "backward" thru a valve or a pipe. It should be noted that these devices protect all of us from possible water system contamination, so it's very important that your devices are tested and maintained regularly by licensed professionals. (Backflow FAQ's)

Plumbing Professors® is available 24 hours a day to provide testing, repair and certification of your backflow device so you'll always meet municipal or state codes. We can also install new backflow systems, or replace a worn out backflow device in your home, or office.
