A Video Sewer Inspection is Like a Colonoscopy for Your Home or Office Building
New video camera technology allows our Technicians to locate your blockages or breaks within your system, identify them and then determine the best solution to fix the problem. You’ll even be able to see what the camera sees, so you can decide on the best repair option we present you. A video sewer inspection helps eliminate guesswork, which means a faster fix to your problem. While roots in sewer lines, roots in drain, gurgling drain and slow drains are a common occurrence, there are countless other conditions that can obstruct you sewer or drain line and result in a flooded basement or commercial building. Regardless of what is causing your slow drains, a video sewer inspection is the best troubleshooting tool available to diagnose your problem.
We have a number of different sized cameras that can be used to video inspection sewers and drains of different diameters.
You can see from the image below that there are a lot of roots in this section of the sewer pipe. This is an actual snapshot of a root infested sewer line, you’ll see these numbers in the bottom right corner 0:15ft; that tells us that this spot in the pipe is 15 feet from the opening of the pipe, so we can now locate on the surface where the heavy root infiltration is and design some options to clear the roots and hopefully restore the sewer line to its original condition.
Whether it’s your home, your shopping mall, your hospital or your apartment complex a video sewer inspection conducted by us is a good investment. You will see the inside of your sewer or drain lines for yourself, that eliminates any guessing and gives you a clear idea of what is causing your sewer line problems.
Things You Might See in Your Sewer Line Besides Roots
- rubber ducks
- pens & pencils
- corroded cast iron pipe
- cell phones, small purses
- bellied pipe or settled pipe
- off set pipes and loose joints
